Adding a daily reading in the morning has been a happy supplement to my regular Bible Reading & prayer time. There are many to choose from, and most are just “fluff”. This one is not. Mary Wilder Tileston’s compilation of quotes, poems, and devotional thoughts includes such writers such as George MacDonald, Thomas a Kempis, Andrew Murray, John Greeleaf Whittier, Alfred, Lord Tennyson, Charles Wesley, Richard Baxter, John Bradford, Alexander MacLaren, and much more.
